Anthony has taught over 300 bass guitar and guitar students and as a bass teacher he uses his varied music experience to ensure that lessons are appropriate for students of all ages and levels from beginners to advanced.
Anthony has highly motivated to help people achieve their bass playing aims whether it’s playing through a simple rock/pop song, or learning how to play more complicated music suc has jazz. He is dedicated to students who are willing to practice bass and study music as he himself is a regular gigging bass player and student of music. Continue to learn and grow as a musician is an ongoing journey that has become part of a musician's life.
Anthony possesses a Working With Children Check (WWCC) from the Victorian Department of Justice and enjoys teaching many children and teenagers. For high school and teenage students Anthony ensures that the students are working on music that they know and enjoy to keep them motivated and interested in playing and practicing the guitar.

Influenced by Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and jazz bass legends, Jaco Pastorius, Stanley Clarke and many more, Anthony’s ever growing diversity is reflected through the styles that he plays funk, fusion, blues, jazz, classic and modern rock to chart pop tunes.
Anthony is also a bass guitarist in in the Melbourne funk/acid jazz band BLTs and double bassist in the jazz band Trumpet. These bands regularly play public and private gigs in and around Melbourne. He aslo regularly plays fill in jazz gigs for many bands which requires a thorough knowlegde of music reading and theory which is essential to a professional musician. Anthony can teach these skills to all students.
As a dynamic and well versed musician, Anthony also has a music degree which encompassed classical composition and audio engineering components. Anthony also writes and records music productions for TV, film and video. |
